Step off the mat feeling calm, kind and strong, ready to take on fresh new challenges in the comfort of your own home…

Welcome! It's a pleasure to have you here. My love for yoga and wellbeing inspires me to deliver both in-person and online yoga classes, fostering a sense of care, joy, and connection within a supportive community.

Since 2017, I have taught regular group classes in Scotland for Edinburgh Leisure, Nuffield Health, George Watson's College (awarded Best-performing Instructor in 2019), the University of Edinburgh, various offices as part of corporate wellbeing programmes, one-to-one sessions at clients' homes, online conferences, and a season teaching daily classes at Surf Cascais surf school in Portugal, where I was working remotely.

Elevate Your Workplace Wellness with Private Yoga Classes.

1-to-1 Yoga

Private sessions deepen your practice in surprising ways, whether you’re new to the yoga game, feel intimidated by taking a class with lots of other people, need rehabilitation from an injury, or just want to take your practice deeper.

There’s safety in private yoga instruction as all your injuries and special requirements are addressed in each pose.

You can build a new practice much faster than in a group setting due to the focused training you’re receiving.

"I remember how impressed I was by Katie’s teaching style when I first joined a class at my local gym. Mindful and challenging at the same time, Katie is a wonderful yoga teacher."

Amy J.

“Always enjoy Katie's classes in Gracemount. She spreads a very positive mood and shares loads of encouragement and smiles. I leave the class a bit sweaty, feeling like I had a good massage and most of all, I feel so calm and quiet. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to take care of their mind and body and leave with a smile on their face.”

Céline D.

"Katie is such a brilliant teacher, I can't recommend her enough. I've been lucky enough to have some 121s with her and she tailored the class exactly to my needs, whilst still challenging me to try new asanas. I have loved attending her zoom classes during lockdown. She is so calming and wonderful."

If you enjoy these classes, please share this schedule with your friends or anyone you think might need some yoga. If you have a spare 2 minutes... I would also be super grateful if anyone would like to leave a short review on LinkedIn or Facebook to help spread the word!

"Before lockdown I went to Katie's classes at the gym and during lockdown I have been doing Zoom classes with her. I think she is a fantastic teacher. She explains everything very clearly and has a lovely calm and reassuring manner. I find her classes challenging but always feel so much better (physically and emotionally) having done one. I would highly recommend Yoga with KatieG."

Rhona H.

"Had many wonderful teachers but I confidently recommend Katie’s classes more than most. Teaching/caring flows in her veins, I’ve seen her infectious enthusiasm inspire but standouts were that her fun classes are non-competitive (made me less injury prone), plus, the clarity of instruction was second to none, so important if you’re starting out and feeling you won’t belong. Community yoga is important to me and I’m relieved for people that she’s still teaching. No matter your experience level, really fun classes."

"Katie is super knowledgeable and adapts her style to match your needs and level. She's very attentive and very positive."

"Katie is a brilliant talented yoga teacher, thoughtful gentle encouragement to take you deeper into your practice but always with humour and kindness."

Helen L.

"I love the balance of challenge, care and mindfulness in Katie's classes.  She always takes the time to make sure people can really arrive in the space and in the moment, and uses propriorception to make sure that everyone gets the most out of each movement and asana without feeling any pressure to strive or compete.  I always feel like I've learned something and done more than I thought I could after a class and come away from meditation feeling calm, kind and strong."

Emma C.

"Excellent - really knows her stuff, helped me recover from an injury with well suited exercises. Impressive."
